Flatten the curve
Peak shaving ensures that your home and charging station together never use more power than desired.
So you keep your bill perfectly under control as far as the capacity rate is concerned.
When configuring the energy manager, you set the maximum peak consumption that must be taken into account.
Follow the peak
It may happen that the home creates a higher peak because several appliances are on at the same time. Such as the hob, oven, washing machine, etc.
When this higher consumption also increases your monthly peak, with Follow the peak, the energy manager will use this higher monthly peak for the rest of the current month to charge faster, without any negative impact on your bill. In fact, the higher monthly peak was created by the home.
As soon as a new month starts, this value resets to the default value.
Since version 1.6.0, your present monthly peak (as recorded by your digital meter) is displayed on the energy manager home screen.
After pairing your charging station with the energy manager, this charge mode is set by default and Follow the peak is active.
